Our Teams BINTER and 3DEAL were selected to represent the University of the Aegean in the National Entrepreneurship Competition - JA Start Up 2022.
The team PROJECT VG won its participation in the National Competition as the winner of the Online Voting Challenge of the JA Start Up 2022.
The team 3DEAL won the 2nd prize in the national finals!
Junior Achievement Greece 2021
The Youth Entrepreneurship Association / Junior Achievement Greece is a non-profit organization and was founded in November 2005. It is a member of the global organization of education & entrepreneurship Junior Achievement Worldwide and implements the educational programs of the organization in Greece.
The MEIE Lab and the University of Aegean participated in JA Start Up 2021 with the teams, FARMIT and AVATRY.
In this second participation, our team “FARMIT” won the Third Prize.
Farmit.gr is an innovative platform that connects consumers with local producers in the primary sector. The platform enables consumers to buy fresh local products by choosing either home delivery or on-farm delivery while producers enjoy viewing and collecting data on their sales. The members of the Farmit.gr team are Elena Giannakopoulou, Dimitrios Katsakioris, Filippos Koufopoulos, Dimitris Trovias and Margarita Fotiou.

6th Entrepreneurship Day (2022)
In the 6th Entrepreneurship Day (2022), the Lab organized its third Business Concept Student Competition in the main university auditorium.
The student’s groups competed for participation in the National University Student Entrepreneurship Competition - Junior Achievement Greece (JA Start Up 2021).
7 Student Groups with 27 Students from 3 Departments and 2 Islands of the University of the Aegean worked hard for 3 months their business ideas.
Finally, on 17th of May 2022, BINTER and 3DEAL were selected to represent the University of the Aegean in the National Entrepreneurship Competition - JA Start Up 2022. The team PROJECT VG won its participation in the National Competition as the winner of the Online Voting Challenge of the JA Start Up 2022.
5th Entrepreneurship Day (2021)
In the 5th Entrepreneurship Day (2021), the Lab organized its second Public Business Concept Student Competition via ZOOM, due to Covid19 restrictions.
The student’s groups tried to achieve their participation in the National University Student Entrepreneurship Competition - Junior Achievement Greece (JA Start Up 2021).
4 Student Groups with 18 Students from 4 Departments and 2 Islands of the University of the Aegean worked hard for 3 months their business ideas.
Finally, on 12th of May 2021, FARMIT and AVATRY were selected to represent the University of the Aegean in the National Entrepreneurship Competition - JA Start Up 2021.
