Management Entrepreneurship and Innovative Education Laboratory
The Laboratory was founded in 2015 in the Department of Business Administration (DBA) of the University of the Aegean (Government Gazette Issue No1867 / 31-08-2015). The first title of the Lab was “Management, Communication and Innovative Education” and its first Director, until September of 2019, was Professor Nikolaos Konstantopoulos. Since October of 2019, Director of MEIE Lab is the Assistant Professor Dr. Ioannis Kinias (Government Gazette Issue No 845/ 14-10-2019). In February 2020, the Lab was renamed and received its current title (Government Gazette Issue No 537/ 20-02-2020). MEIE Lab is located in the Michalio Building in Chios Island, it has 4 workstations and a meeting-presentation table and is equipped with computers, printers and all the appropriate systems.
Junior Achievement and Entrepreneurship Days
The Youth Entrepreneurship Association / Junior Achievement Greece is a non-profit organization and was founded in November 2005. It is a member of the global organization of education & entrepreneurship Junior Achievement Worldwide and implements the educational programs of the organization in Greece.
REBUILT Erasmus
The project REBUILT is a two-year project co-funded by the European Union in the context of ERASMUS+ KA220-HED – ’Cooperation partnerships in higher education’ (Agreement number: 021-1-DK01-KA220-HED-000030127). The overall objective of the REBUILT project is to develop and cultivate an effective innovation ecosystem of Higher Education Institutions, Business Communities and Research Institutions that contributes towards achieving an urgent environmental turning point.
The specific objectives of the REBUILT project include:
Improvement of the match between curricula of Higher Education Institutes and human capital needs of businesses.
Development of future-oriented curriculum for Higher Education students and professionals
Promotion of the lifelong learning dimension of Higher Education
Development short stand-alone online courses leading to microcredentials for Higher Education students and professionals
Development skills strategy and a low carbon transition action plan
Raise awareness about environmental and climate-change challenges.
Sfab Project
‘Support Family Business-SFaB’ is a two-year project on Family Business, co-funded by the European Union under the ERSMUS+ KA220-VET – Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training(Agreement Number 2021-1-EL01-KA220-VET-000029673).
The project aims to provide owners, members, managers, and employees of Family Businesses with the knowledge, skills and competencies required to manage ownership, and growth and achieve succession planning and professionalisation within the company.
SFaB projects brings together 7 partners from 6 countries; Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Austria, France, and Belgium.
